Hotel AMANO Grand Central

Location was excellent, straight across from the train station, also access to trams. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Asked for extra pillows + iron and ironing board which were provided. Room was spotless. We enjoyed the stay and would defo recommend this hotel for location alone.. Will be back

A very comfortable hotel in a great location, only 5 minute walk to berlin central station and tram access right outside. Some might want to be in more hip neighbourhoods but the hotel and access to anywhere in the city quickly made this a great base to explore berlin. Breakfast was very good and gave a great start to the day. We also used the in-house restaurant Gambinos and again was very good. On the 6th floor there is a nice late bar called the apartment which was nice for a glass of wine to reflect on the day. Overall a great hotel we'll located for public transport with good size rooms and a great breakfast to start the day.

The room was perfect, clean and comfortable. I must say that the highlight of my experience was the outstanding service provided by Ventsislava at the front desk. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine welcome that immediately made me feel at home. Ventsislava's professionalism and attention to detail were truly impressive. She efficiently handled my check-in process, taking the time to explain all the hotel amenities and answering my questions with patience and expertise. She is a true asset to the hotel and exemplifies the best of what hospitality should be. Thanks to her exceptional service, I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The hotel is in a great location. Train station.across the road. Airport 6 stops on the train. Clean and tidy. Breakfast is good. Rooms okay.

I was super lucky to get an upgrade to a better room type. I wasn't told, but I found out another time I booked the same toom type and it was a whole different experience. For this room type I have to say the value for price was amazing. Spacious room, huge bed and even a bath tub. I would definitely recommend choosing the comfort room after I have seen how big the difference is to the standard one – if you care for good sleep and a quite stay. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was really good with many healthy and tasty choices. Overall a very good experience due to the room type I had this time.
